Shepard's pie




Ingredients

Meat part :
2 Chicken breast ( cut into small pieces)
Capsicum (green,yellow,red- 1/2 each)
2 Carrot (grated)
1 big onion
3 cloves garlic
Ground black pepper
Soy sauce
Salt and sugar to taste

Potato part :
1 packet instant potato puree ( yes, i cheated a lot of time here)
Butter
Grated cheese
Salt

Egg Yolk (for finishing touch)

1. Sautee onion and garlic. Put in chicken and carrot. Then black pepper, soy sauce and salt to taste.
2. Add in capsicum in the last 5 minutes of cooking because it has a very strong taste. And we don't want that. unless u like it otherwise.
3. Boil water and mix the instant potato puree. Add in as much butter and cheese you want. Add salt.
4. Assemble the dish by putting the meat part first into a casserole dish ware. Then put in the potato. Glazed the top of potato with egg yolk. Fork the potato a bit to create a wavy appearence. The tip of the wave will brown after baking.
5. Bake in oven for about 20-30 minutes at 200 degree celcius.

story : went to picnic with my batch mates with this yummy little thing. u might ask or opt to use minced chicken or meat. well, i've tried it and the feeling is not the same as eating diced chicken. the potato part, be generoussss with the cheese and butter.
